With windows vista and the new windows 7 operating systems, needing more and more power from your pc you may be finding things run a lot slower than they used to.

 
You may just need a quick boost and therefore your best bet would be to upgrade the Ram (Random Access Memory)This can be the cheapest option and is very easy to fit.

You might need more storage, in this case you need to upgrade the HHD (hard drive) This again is very easy to fit and are very reasonably priced. It can also be very handy to have two in your system, (one used as storage) this way if you get a virus of fault with the operating system, you can reboot without loosing all your data.

HARD DRIVE (HDD)

Maybe you want to upgrade your graphics card for gaming or playing high def movies. This can cause a little more cost as depending on the graphics card you go for, you may need to upgrade your psu(Power Supply Unit) to support and power the graphics card.

Or you might want to change the mobo (Motherboard) Maybe yours developed a fault or you would like to upgrade the motherboard ether for gaming or multimedia porposses, as this is the heart of the pc you may find your new board isn't compatable with your processor or ram.
